Yodle to double workforce in Charlotte

Yodle, a leader in local online marketing, announced it has moved its Charlotte office into a 35,000-square-foot space in the Cambridge Corporate Center. The new facility will accommodate its 120 current employees and offers significant room for expansion, with plans to increase its staff in the city to 250 employees.

Yodle has had an office in the city since 2007, and most of the staff work in the sales and client services departments, and the remainder are HR, IT, office management and operations employees. The majority of 130 new jobs will be in sales and client services. Charlotte is one of six offices the company has across the country with more than 1,100 employees.

CEO Court Cunningham said, “Yodle is making this investment in Charlotte because of the availability of strong qualified talent and the friendly economic climate cultivated by the city. We are committed to capitalizing on a significant opportunity in the local online marketing space, and our expansion in Charlotte will play a critical role in helping us meet our goals.”

Yodle is also holding an information session at the new office at 6 p.m. Oct. 15 for people interested in working at the company. Potential candidates can register for the event here and can view job opportunities on the Yodle Careers website here.
