Sleep soundly, S3 creates 137 jobs in Columbia

COLUMBIA, Tenn. — Sleep Solutions and Services, LLC (S3), a medical software and support company, will locate new call center operations in Columbia. S3 expects to invest $3.6 million in the project and to create 137 jobs in Maury County.

The company contracts with health care providers to follow up with patients with respiratory conditions such as sleep apnea. In addition to web-based technology, S3 also provides live on-call support known as ‘sleep coaches.’

Sleep coaches assist clients with ordering supplies to support their medical equipment. Sleep coaches also communicate with clients on a regular basis to educate them throughout their treatment processes.

“Our facility will allow us to grow and expand our operations to provide service to customers in all 50 states,” said David Baxter, owner and president of the company, in a news release. Baxter also owns Medical Necessities, a medical equipment and supply company with ten locations in Tennessee.

“We have been very fortunate to have previous business adventures in Tennessee and love the support we’ve received from the state. We are excited about employing a number of new people to our family of sister companies, and we look forward to growing another business here,” Baxter added.

Individuals interested in applying for a position with S3 can submit resumes to jobs@s3sleepcoach.com.
