Amazon looks to the sky for expansion

SEATTLE — According to The Seattle Times, online retailer Amazon is in talks with Washington-based Boeing to lease 20 of the company’s 767 jets to provide its own delivery service. Amazon declined to comment on the matter.

The article cited cargo-industry executives who said the retailer has dealt with delays from overworked carriers like United Parcel Service and FedEx, and might launch its own delivery option.
