Tulsa’s River Spirit Casino adding convention center, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse plus 1,000 new jobs and more
TULSA – Though the 30,000-square-foot convention center at the River Spirit Casino Resort isn’t open yet, it has events booked into 2021, Adam Graham, resort sales manager at River Spirit, told The Journal Record.
The convention center is part of the $365 million addition that’s been underway at River Spirit since 2014. The other amenities include a:
- 483-room hotel
- Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse
- 2,500-seat theater
- Margaritaville casino and restaurant
- Landshark Lounge with a swim-up bar in the pool
- Parking garage.
While the expansion is expected to create 1,000 jobs, the Tulsa Regional Chamber estimates the project created 2,500 construction jobs and had a $305 million economic impact during the 24-month construction. It will have a $135 million ongoing economic impact annually. Check for River Spirit Casino Resort jobs here.
